- While many "trends" has faded to date: smaller neck tie knots (or neck tie at all today), few things has repeated itself: the gradual shift towards more casual look to America (Tuxedo was once seem as casual for formal event in the late 1800s, but today a suit could suffice as formal event wear in many occasions)

Because of its age, this book offers little helpful advice, especially when you consider the vast wealth of information to be found on the internet today.
