The world has maps for every nook and cranny. When Patrick discovers a web of tunnels that’s completely off the grid, he sets out to draw what only he can see.
After Jay, 15, and Patrick, 13, find out their mom is travelling to Europe with her boyfriend, the two brothers must spend the holidays stuck at home. Trusted into the care of their elderly, National Geographic-quoting grandfather, they do not expect the adventure that will unfold when Patrick receives a family an old map of the San Francisco Bay. When a strange rumbling hits their home, the boys are led by their grandfather through a special train tunnel that mysteriously connects them to the New York City subway. What follows is a journey involving a young cartographer drawing new connections to cities, and his Tetris-crazed older brother as they protect the map and rescue their grandfather.
