The idea of Self-obliteration in kusama is a radical way to fight for the love and peace , for achieving an endless fusion of the individual and the universe... However, it could be interesting when we start to think about Andy Warhol ...when he copied this idea, it became a way for fighting for his own loneliness by dispersing the attention added to himself, even he denied, bc art is a way for hiding himself, he refused often the verbal expression . He was kind of saved by his art. Kusama also makes me think of Valerie Solanas , who may have the same strong ambition as Kusama in 60s, although she went completely crazy and hysterical..maybe she should go for the support for kusama first than to Andy Warhol.....bc Warhol’s fight is for himself. He didn’t get that energy to fight for Valerie of course. Valerie needs someone like kusama to support her insane feminist project. Meanwhile Yayoi kusama has been always an energy bomb!! She really cares about the pain of the humain world. She has made a continual and crazy effort during her whole life. Nobody else. Nobody. Most of us are hypocritic in front of her. She has a power to make me feel that empathy is not that worth to be encouraged. We need Action, word, and creativity. We need the talents:) A way to the death:just a door to another door:)
