It sounds insane, but it's true. He calls himself the Shadow, everyone says he's a hero... a savior. I don't care what people call him, he's a damn criminal.
His stacked body and rock-hard muscles scare the hell out of me. He's a man that just takes what he wants.

I received an unedited, draft gift copy of Shadow Over New York from the author, Adair Rymer, in exchange for an honest review. Ms Rymer assures me that her manuscript will receive proper editing and proofing before publication, and I will take her word for it, as I am rather picky about that sort of thing, and I know others are as well.
I was intrigued by the premise of a superhero story. I do enjoy paranormal and fantasy, but a superhero in the tradition of Batman, Superman, and Ironman is something that isn't normally found in either of those categories.
Natasha and Logan grew up next to each other in the Big Apple. Like many young kids, at first they don't get along, but before long friendship grows, eventually becoming attraction and then love. Then, one day criminals strike, tearing them apart.
Natasha turns to law enforcement in an effort to right wrongs. She hears rumors of the mysterious Shadow - a killer who seems uncatchable, but chalks them up to urban legend. Until one day she and her partner are rescued against all odds. Who is this mysterious stranger? Who or what is he after, and how can she stop him? Maybe more importantly, how does he do what he does? What makes him superhuman?
The author tells a fast-paced tale, filled with action, intrigue, and a good deal of heat! Not for the under 18 crowd. Loose ends are wrapped up in a satisfying way, while leaving the way open for a sequel.
I enjoyed Shadow Over New York, and will look forward to more of this author's work.

Logan and Natasha were best friends until that fatal night when he was taken away. Years later and now Natasha has backup always. She is a cop in New York and fighting the Irish is dirty. Logan is a super hero and is programmed for one thing....Vengeance.
He fights the Irish and always has her back. When she finds out that it is him, she is emotional and a mess. She doesn't believe that he could still be alive.
They take on the Irish and his vengeance is complete. The only thing he has to love for now is her. He loves her and always has.
I loved this book. I hope there is another one in the works. I'd love to read more about these two characters that brought this book so much life.
Excellent writing with a storyline that will make your heart go pitter-patter.

A really cool mix of sci-fi, mob/crooked cops and childhood friends turned lovers who go through some major life changes.
I wasn't sure what to expect at first and as I got into the story of Logan and Natasha, the only problem I had was it was way too short!! I wanted a full-length more detailed story of these two characters who met as youngsters (living in the same apartment building) and grew up to go very separate ways. It was sexy, cute, mysterious, and violent with a touch of sci-fi thrown in for fun and I really liked the whole "superhero" aspect as well... it came across as believable and didn't bother me at all. I would love to read more about this pair.

Loved this book. I enjoyed the superhero and how he was different than most. He was still a bit human and fought with himself and those that made him from the beginning. This is a story about how love truly can conquer all. I enjoyed how Tasha never changed her convictions about Logan and her need for justice and vengeance. This was a great love story and story about justice. I was gifted a copy by the wonderful Adair Rymer, and as usual, her book did not disappoint. I dont want to say too much more without giving away the story, it was a short story but it was so full of action and people that it felt like a full length book!

This is what's hot, right now!! Hot superhero with some exceptional super powers! The Shadows abilities are definitely different from any I have heard of before. Ooh, Nat is one bad mama! Female cop, doing the job by the book, in the roughest parts of town.
The story of Nat and Logan's early years draws you in, paints the picture of their intense feelings for each other. When Logan has to leave unexpectedly you instantly get the feeling something is amiss. I didn't expect where the trail lead, but a great little mystery.
This is a great book. Great action scenes. I can see it on the big screen now! This has the makings of another great series from this great author!

Logan & Natalie...best friends in childhood, who just started exploring a new dimension to their relationship, when tragedy tears them apart. Fast forward to some years later...Natalie is a cop & Logan is, will let's just say, different. Take this superhero ride with them to see what happens in this action packed, sexy story. You won't be disappointed ( not that I ever am with Adair Rymer stories)

Natasha and Logan were dating when at 17 he was taken away from her. Years later, Natasha devotes her life to solving crimes. When the mysterious Shadow appears there is something about him. Is this superhero good or evil? I enjoyed this story of courage and happiness. Who is Shadow and why does he seem so familiar?

Natasha & Logan (Shadow) love story. What can I say but WOW. If you like a story with a superhero with enhanced powers then this book is for you. It is a little on the dark side but ends proving love can endure all barriers even death. You won't be sorry to took the time to read it. I was given an advance copy for an honest review.

Wow I really loved this book super hero/ romance and sexy love the whole story line I hope there is a next book to there story! I don't wanna spoil anything but if your into superheroes like I am this is a MUST read! Couldn't put it down seriously read it straight thru lol So happy Adair Rymer let me review this book my review is READ IT!!! Natasha and Logan ❤️❤️❤️

What a fantastic superhero story. I was really excited to be reading something different, and Adair certainly did not disappoint. This book was awesome. I loved Logan and kick$#s Natasha. She was one ballsy lady. Another cracking rad from this author
