This is the bundle of Books 1-3 of the Mating Games series that follows ten brothers in birth order as they pursue their mates. It also has bonus material. The prequel of Moon Hunters which is Catty Diva's new series that will begin when The Mating Games series concludes.
I've given this set a three star rating. Its not too well edited and the characters don't have much depth. The shifter side of the Mazlan nature is only briefly mentioned and could give the stories a bit more depth if developed. Herein we meet the first three brothers of Ten. They each need to find their mate before the next in line can. First is Razar who's mate is from earth. She was blackmailed into entering the Mating Game by her selfish sister. Since the money would be used for her mother's medical needs Lista accepts not knowing what to expect but determined to survive. This is probably the most entertaining of the three books. Next is Travlr. Once the males have been through their preparation they can smell the scent of their mate. So Travlr starts out after Tammie. Tammie is also from earth but has been forced into the mating game by crooks who have cheated her out of her inheritance. Tammie is interested in construction and hopes to be able to get work on Oison if she manages to get to the end of the course without getting caught. Thirdly is Glendar. His mate is Bernie according to the goddess. But Bernie has escaped from a emotionally abusive father who happens to be the leader of a planet called Earth Two, and he wants her back! These books are space opera aimed at mature readers.
The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because all the stories were similar. That being said... it was really a well though out and put together story with no grammatical issues that I could see. I loved the loving and how these girls were welcomed into this family. I will be reading more from this author
This was in my kindle unlimited tbr list so I thought I'd try it. Meh. Interesting plot, but the execution was not great. It was all tell, no show. It's hard to get engaged in book that just tells me what is going on. I'm hoping things are better in the continuing books.
