A lovely, wacky adventure with an illustration style that perfectly matches the messy, fun-filled adventures of the family! Lots of activity in the drawings, and I particularly liked the inventor mother and prankster sister (what a classic sibling relationship)
A cute story about an adventure of a family from mother's accidental invention. Loved its bright colors, constant roast of dad's cooking, and its positioning of mom to be a scientist - an untraditional family.
First, Mum invented a teleporter. Then, Marie tricked Albert to try Dad's cookies. He bumped into the teleporter. Oh no! The Gizmos family went to the past. Dinosaurs there wanted to eat them. Albert threw Dad's cookies to the dinosaur. They went to the museum to see a dinosaur exhibition.
Our favourite character is Dad because his body is funny and cute. Also, he makes cookies that Dinosaurs like to eat even though his family does not like them.
We like the story because it is creative and exciting. We like when the dinosaur eats the yucky, bad cookies.
But, we don't like Marie because she is mean and naughty.

Our favourite character is Dad because he is handsome and willing to try. He doesn't know how to cook but he always tries. Our favourite part of the story is the T-rex chasing the family but eats the cookies at the end. It is very surprising.
