Loved this book. My 1st Christian Fiction, Mystery book.
Terrye Robins has a sweet writing voice and embraces family, faith, and scripture with the storyline.

Allison Kane has gone back to Hawaii to teach summer school, work part time at the Hawaii Star and see Simon, the handsome detective she met when she went for her interview in the spring. This book follows the formula of attractive young single woman getting involved in a criminal case and she and the detective fall in love. In this case, someone is robbing graves (all from the same family) and cutting off the fingers of the deceased. Allie "helps" with the investigations with her newspaper contacts, and gets into big trouble. The plot is good, but the writing is somewhat stilted.
