Leviathan's Ruse, Vol. 1: The Comprehensive Guide to the Battle Between Good and Evil

Rate this book
The Bible speaks several times about a powerful and terrifying sea serpent named Leviathan. An ancient dragon with no rival, it is used as a symbol of the first and greatest heavenly being. Although this being started life as a magnificent angel, he rebelled against God and became Satan, the adversary of mankind. Leviathan is the mascot of this fallen angel and his kingdom, and it is the image of the terrible beast-empire seen by the prophet Daniel. In Leviathan’s Ruse , Alexander Lawrence exposes the tactics of the Dragon while tackling popular misconceptions and unbiblical views that have infected the church. He illuminates six major components to the great deception that Satan has leveled against us since the Garden of Eden, and explains how these relate to biblical end-time prophecies. Is it possible… That our most fundamental assumptions about the identity of the Antichrist are wrong? That believers have been conditioned to expect a Rapture but will instead witness an evil resurrection? That Satan’s agenda is being enacted by occult societies and those unwittingly controlled by them? Leviathan’s Ruse is a compendium of groundbreaking insights into these and many other topics.
Embark now on a quest to unravel history’s greatest conspiracy and see the world as you’ve never seen it before.

Alexander Lawrence is a Bible-thumping lay scholar on a mission to prepare disciples of Y'shua (Jesus) for the last days. Some very strange and unexpected things are headed down the pike—things which will shake even the strongest believers to the core—and the church at large is woefully unprepared to deal with them. Alexander aims to help as many brethren as possible stand firm under the weight of the coming great deception.

Alexander makes a living as a digital artist. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University in 2004.

In his free time, Alexander enjoys reading, backpacking, weight-lifting, winning at racquetball, going to wine tastings, attending concerts, and playing various sorts of games. He plays the guitar, piano, and trumpet, and wishes that he had time to get better at all three. He dearly loves Blue Bell Ice Cream and will lose his religion if you take the last of the carton.

This is one of the most well explained and thoroughly researched books on the topic of the last days that I have read. Lawrence goes to great lengths to give the reader a full understanding of the backgrounds behind the different religious views and cultural legends that we are presented with today regarding the end times and what we may already be able to discern regarding them. The amount of work and insight that has gone into writing this book is evident; covering numerous topics and themes that will tie together as the final days draw closer. I cannot wait to read the next volume.

Soaking this up, hardly ever have I seen a book so down to the essence and with such clear definition of a widespanning topic that is often ridiculed, laughed at and generally hard to wrap your mind around. Don't read this with a religious bias, see it as an investigative journal for modern times. You will have a hard time denying the facts. No, I am not a christian. You can even get the ebook for free, kudos to the author and no, it's not a PR gag to get you to buy a hardcopy. I got it completely for free, there is no catch and I didn't have to join a sect or other questionable cult.

Straight forward and easy to follow if you are familiar with the subject line. Packed full of interesting topics approached from an eye opening perspective. I will definitely read Vol. 2 when it is released.

This book is loaded with good information. A lot of it may not be entirely new to readers already familiar with much of the independent Protestant eschatology that’s out there today. If you’ve read Rob Skiba, Tom Horn, Chris Putnam, Doug Hamp, et al, then you have read most of the material in this book.

I want to give this book four stars, but I can’t. That’s primarily because, as a self-published work, it’s got some spelling, grammatical, and structural issues. Also, I am totally convinced of the main thesis, but I think the author could’ve done a better job making his argument.

That being said, overall this is a good book and worth the read.
