Joanna Lee Doster is a freelance journalist for syndicated newspapers, magazines and blogs. She is also an author whose published works includes the interior design book Celebrity Bedroom Retreats: Professional Designers' Secrets for 40 Star Bedrooms (Rockport/Quarry Publishers) and the action-thriller novel Maximum Speed: Pushing The Limit (MPI Publishing).

She is a licensed interior designer who holds a certificate in antiques and decorative arts appraising. She is passionate about collecting antiques and has managed elite antique stores in New York City.

As an author, she enjoys writing fiction such as mysteries, thrillers, and children's books and non-fiction such as interior designing and profiles of people of interest.

Charming book for dog and or operating lovers

This book was adorable! I'd recommend this book to adults and children alike. It gives a lovely inside view to the workings of the Metropolitan Opera in an easy to understand format. The little dog and his adventures are super cute. A fun and educational read with a little bit of bravery and heroism too! Can't wait to see more from this author. Also, hopefully this will become available in print! (it'd make a great gift item)

I wish my kids were still little, because they would love this book. Jaxx is so cute! I will have this for young visitors!



The narration was well done.The characters were well portrayed. Andrea Emmes does such a sweet doggy voice.
