His Angel & His Streets: Holding a Thug's Heart

Rate this book
William, or Smooth as he is known to the streets, is a down south King of the Streets. He runs his operation throughout the South, with his main headquarters in Birmingham. Smooth has the money and the respect, the only thing he doesn’t have is a woman to share it with. But with his business, it is hard to find a woman that he can trust. He is looking for love and not lust.

When his sister comes to visit him at his Atlanta home, she takes matters into her own hands and signs him up on a dating website. She is unaware of his secret hustle and goes full throttle to find her brother a mate. William is not into the dating site thing. In his line of business, he could have any woman that he wanted, but curiosity takes over and he takes a look and stumbles across Angel Jacobs.

Angel is a church girl looking to come out of shell and find love. When she meets the 33-year-old chocolate man that she believes to be a truck-driver, she is instantly head over heels. Angel is just the woman that William has been looking for. She is a well spoken, classy, full-figured woman with a good head on her shoulders. And the biggest plus, she is not affiliated with the hustle and bustle of the street life. Their first date goes well until it is abruptly interrupted by his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Sheila.

Hoping that doesn’t ruin his chances with Angel, William attempts to set Sheila straight. But when Sheila, who may be his potential baby momma, begins to threaten his empire and relationship, William realizes that something or someone has to go.

😊😊😊

Can't wait to read part 2. I was skeptical at first but it became very interesting to read. The only thing I didn't like was reading about a 29yr old virgin. That's very very rare these days. But none the less good book.

Good Read!!

I loved the chemistry between Smooth and Angel. I just don't understand why he doesn't tell her the truth about himself, its bound to come out sooner or later. I could not stand Sheilia and after I found out about her and Jock I realized why. She is no good and neither is his so called friend, scheming to bring him down. I guess their is no such thing as loyalty now a days. I am glad Robyn and her kids found some happiness with Anthony. I can't wait for book two to see how Snow deals with his new found position and to see if Smooth finds out what Sheilia and Jock are up to. Hopefully he won't lose his wife in the process.

Smooth and his Angel

This was a great read from beginning to end. Smooth is my book bae of the day. His name definitely fits him. I really like him and Angel together, but I wish that he would come clean and tell her who he really is. I couldn't stand Sheila. I hope that she gets what's coming to her in part 2. Great job with this one Shavekia.

It was a great series. I loved it. Smooth is the man. I love his relationship with Angel and how he handles his street life. There were a lot of great characters in the 3 books. All 3 books were well written and held my attention. It was better than watching TV. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for a great read!

Good Book

This book was pretty good. William aka Smooth really is good at hiding his profession from Angel. I hope it doesn't cost him his marriage when the truth comes out.
