This was one of my favourite books when I was a child - it still is! I used to sign it out on book cassette from the library every time I went. Eventually, when I was old enough to receive an allowance, I bought the book. The illustrations are beautiful and bursting with colour; it's still fun to point out all the animals hiding within them. What child isn't enchanted by the rainforest?
This is a creative and very intriguing children's book about a monkey and her journey through the jungle. As she travels through the jungle she tell her audience what she sees and about the animals that she sees. This book would be good for teaching students about adjectives and rhyming words.
Each page in this story leads the reader from one featured animal to the next. Included are a blue macaw, a hummingbird, a capybara, a sea otter, and more. In beautiful illustrations and easy-to-read rhyme.
