Trivia Madness is the ultimate Trivia book filled with one thousand trivia questions and answers, funny facts and quizzes. This book contains trivia questions from the entertainment industry, prepare yourself and your friends for some amazing movie trivia!
Do you know which part Charlie Chaplin insured? Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith starred together in which 1997 film? “The Final Countdown” was a number one hit for which hard rock band?
If you do know the answers or want to know the answers to fun trivia like this, this book is for you! Celebrity trivia, movie trivia or music trivia, this book got it all!
Unfortunately, this book is all about movies. I was hoping for a more general trivia book. I don't know answers to most of these. I wish book was more general trivia. It is entertainment, movies, songs, etc.
I only had two issues. The first is that the answers were too close to the question so I couldn't tell if I knew the answers or not. The second is there was a mistake on one of the questions regarding John Wayne and the Academy Awards.
I found this book to be refreshing change from the various genres I usually read. The book is a wonderful collection of trivial knowledge from the arts we all love: movies, music and television; and the level of difficulty ranges from everyone has to know the answer to this question to I had no idea, which is sure to please practically every trivia aficionado. When it came to the questions regarding television, the author has included both American and British programs [programmes] so be prepared. It came as a surprise to me that I actually knew the answers to the number of questions I did.
The author, I feel, should have arranged the questions contained in the book into chapters/categories instead of the hodgepodge manner he did. Having the answers to each question immediately after the questions serves a purpose, yet, anyone who’s really into trivia would have preferred the questions/answers to have been numbered and placed at the back of the book. However, this would have been quite practical for the paperback edition of the book where it is quite easy to turn back/forth but rather impractical for any e-book edition.
Because of this, somewhat of a quandary has developed here regarding the rating I should give. Since the vast majority of readers will be getting the e-book version, I’m giving this book 5 STARS. I've received a free download from Amazon for this book through the author's giveaway on LibraryThing and the above has been my honest opinion.
What ISNT to love about trivia? I literally grew up loving trivia. My brother was hooked and got me hooked on trivia. He spent an entire study hall watching "Go Ask Alice" to find out what the phone number she called in the movie. TRIVIA MADNESS: 1000 FUN TRIVIA QUESTIONS BY BILL O'NEILL'S book was a quick "read" too quick in my opinion. Questions ranged from the 70's TV to 2015 questions. Cant wait for the sequel to come out! I received this ebook free from LibraryThing in exchange for a review.
Trivia Madness: 1000 Fun Trivia Questions is bases on entertainment world trivia. It covers lines from songs and movies, awards and roles by famous actors and actresses. If you love entertainment trivia, this is a great book for you. I enjoyed remembering old movies and songs but this is not a subject I want to memorize and obsess over; it was just fun to read.
The format is your basic Q&A of any trivia compilation, but rather than sticking to one venue at a time, the entries are mixed and eclectic, encompassing music, TV, movies, etc. Great fun to entertain yourself, annoy friends and co-workers, harass your kids/parents etc. Really entertaining! I won this from LibraryThing Giveaways in their hope of a review.
I loved some of the trivia questions and some were a little too hard for me. It was fun skimming these and passing the kindle back and forth between my friend and I. We played a game where we asked questions til someone answers wrong then switch turns. It was fun learning new stuff.
An interesting quiz book for anyone who participates in pub quizzes etc. Some of the questions are America centric, but a good mix nonetheless. I won a digital copy of this book from Librarything via the author in return for an honest unbiased review.
This is a great Trivia book; it has a great mix of trivia from TV series, Movies, Business owners, and artists. I don’t think I found any sports trivia.
Note: the answer is under each question, so it might be a better experience with two or more players.
