There is so much that I love about this book. As a person who loves spending time in nature to be with God and all He’s created, I loved the connection Penny Musco makes between the parks and Scripture. I enjoyed reading the historical aspects of each park and plan on using this book as a reference in the future.
I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publishers. My comments

Sometimes you read a book that ends up being different from what you expected – or so much more than you expected. "Life Lessons from the National Parks" is such a book.

I expected to see color photos of assorted national parks with a few lines of inspiration. Wrong!

This book is a fascinating mixture of wisdom, entertainment, history, and education. It’s a reference guide, a devotional, and a tour book all combined.

It’s a book you will want to put down after reading a few pages, not because you’re bored with it, but because you want to savor what you’ve just read, and allowing it to stick in your brain and fill your spirit.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publishers. My comments are an independent and honest review.

If you like books that are educational, inspiring, and take you to places you haven't been, then "Life Lessons from the National Parks: Meeting God in America’s Most Glorious Places" is the book for you. This book takes you to our National Parks, gives you history and information you might not know about the parks, and inspires you to take a closer look at God's nature and what he created for you and me to enjoy. The author, Penny Musco, connects all this information together to give the reader an armchair adventure as well as a spiritual takeaway for themselves.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. This is an honest and independent review.

Musco shares wisdom from the past as well as her own creatively-crafted observations. She has been inspired by our National Parks and generously shares her enthusiasm. The sequel is also a must for those who enjoy traveling with her.
