General how-to, some detail
The book has a good overview of the basic process and some details too. Not a book that walks you through while holding your hand to produce a working blog. It gives you the steps, you do them, and explore how to complete It on your own. The author does offer assistance and places to seek help too. It is written in a conversational tone that feels like I am listening to the author talk about the topic. This would be a good place to start of you wanted to know what blogging was and the basic information to see if it was something you wish to peruse. (Which is my reason for reading it) I read the kindle version through my digital library. There were no pictures.

Overall, it gave me a lot to think about but I think the writer glossed over a lot too. He was so general and didn't describe how to use certain services like email services in depth. Still, a decent read.

Definite Must Read For Beginners
I have had it on my heart to start a blog for quite some time. I've tried a couple of times, but didn't go about it the right way. I appreciate how Chris breaks things down into steps. With this book, I have a much better chance of success.

A Good Place To Begin
Good? It has actual Information so you can take action and start blogging business
Bad? A lot of self promotion makes me suspicious and makes me look to other authors

Very informative
I have been mulling over starting my blog for a month or so, now and just didnt know where to start. So, i checked out this book, and was nearly overwhelmed by the wealth of information Chris has imparted me with. It has given me the confidence to move forward. Great read!

Some interesting ideas
This book provides some excellent ideas to get a blog up and running. Though it is not an extremely in depth book it does set up some good foundations. I can see implementing some of the topics discussed in the book to great success.
