I found "Leadership Wisdom" to be a delightful picnic in a meadow of wild flowers. The way Bob Vanourek weaved in his personal wisdom through interpretation of old and new poems and verse really made me think and absorb the concepts better than I have done before. He is a master at pulling out the useful and pragmatic ideas from the authors of the ages.

You will want to read this book more than once, as the ideas are as current and fresh as the spring air on a sunny afternoon. Bob relates the concepts to his own experiences and pathway to outstanding leadership, complete with humble admissions of the mistakes he made along the way.

This book will hold your attention, and you will find yourself eagerly turning each page to devour the next pearl of wisdom.

Loved this book with famous and not so famous verse from days gone by along with commentary on what that verse meant to the author along leadership lines. Definitely will be a re-read.
