Goes down as another off my 2016 Bookworm Bingo Challenge – a book of anthologies. Loved this collection right from the start. Short hot shifter reads that will have you purring with enjoyment throughout. Will definitely be checking out what else the author has written now.
Loved how alpha all the characters where when they either just thought or said out loud ‘mine’ when they saw their other halves. Nothing was ever going to keep them away. Whether their beginnings happened over a year, a month, a week or a day the connections where there right from the start and when fate decided to throw them into each others paths nothing was going to stop them from getting their HEAs with their true mates. The ones to give the females their all-important ‘Os’ they have been missing out on.

While having some freedom she goes for a run, on four legs not two, only to encounter a male lion that clearly wants to take her by force. Luckily the big bad wolf is there to save her. One she feels safe with even when she’s about to pass out. Lets hope she follows her feelings when she wakes up.
Back and forth banter of these two at the garage was great, definitely a hot match made in heaven.

Fearing for her son’s life she goes to leave saying she needs to get out before Declan sees them. Confusing her mother until she says they’re mates. Chloe knows that new mates kill the offspring of the old mates, especially male offspring. She gets caught off guard though when Declan shows that that’s the furthest thing from him mind.
Hybrids are different and he wants her to know that. The only way she will trust him is if he knows everything about her past. The past has a way of coming back to haunt though when her father comes to the party. Years of fear and anger come to a head and Chloe needs to see there is only one way to have her happy ending with Declan without fear for herself or her son.

Thinking it cant get worse she soon passes out.
When she wakes up however she finds herself naked in a man’s bed, one she has no recollection of getting into. Shocked to discover that said man knows her name and is asking her to come back to bed she goes into question mode. Trying not to get distracted by the sex god in front of her, one that’s making her think screw it and jump back into that bed. After explaining everything, even showing her his lion, she passes out again. Not surprising as she’s human and had no idea shifters existed. Now Zander just needs her to see she is his one and only and all will be well. Nothing is ever that easy though but he will sure give it his all to get his woman.
Loved the family breakfast the next day when Harper walks into the kitchen. Both Zander and his brother might be old enough to know better but when their mother tells them off they still turn into children. Harper can feel the connection between them as well as Zander can so just needs to go with what her heart, and body, is telling her. For as soon as she does she will be in for one hell of a fun ride.

What happens when they walk in and get a tour of the locale? What do they find out about the club they have gone to, dressed to the 9's? When Lindy takes her turn talking to Sheila, what does Sheila show her and tell her? After perusing what Sheila offered, what does Lindy decide to do after her brief conversation with Conall, the bartender? While she's talking to Sebastian, what happens? Who is he? Where is he from? How does she find out? I'm not going to ask anything more, because you need to read to find out what happens! Wow.

A lioness, wanting to be free and run, Chloe's father ruled the local pride of lions. He banished her after she had been raped and forced into a mating with the bite that he gave her. It took years for her to go back and visit her family, but when she did, what was waiting for her was a shock for everyone! She's introduced to her step-father and her step-brother all in about 5 minutes time. What happens is just unreal. What a wonderfully inspirational story about overcoming adversity and race.

Merry Christmas, Kitten Review
Whew I need a fan for this hot little story. This may be a
short story, but man is it packed full of hot steamy fun. love
how Kenyon calls her Kitten,even before he finds out she is
a lioness. And man does he have a surprise for her. He’s not
what he seems either. what a lucky lioness, Now if she will
just stick around long enough for him to tell her.
My Valentine Lovers Review
Man the fun continues with Serina's sister. I love how Lorilee was spying on her sister to see her new mate. Then the
twins show up, and all the fun begins. They actually have
been talking or rather chatting before they all met. Oh how
I love the little bit of fate thrown into the story. Now to see
which sister is next.
My Kind Of Lover Review
This is Hadie's story, and I have to say a favorite for me. She
is a bad ass, I love her tattoo. Fits perfectly to the type of
personality. these books see to just get better with each story.
And our hero Jace is a different mix than I've herd of. love
the originality of her books.
Sex Me Up Review
This is a good one, she goes half way around the world
to end up finding her mate. But then she runs. Thank
goodness he gave chase. I love how he found her that
was truly something. And when he tells her his revelation
it was a perfect ending to the story.

lionesses sire. What an ass he is. Throwing out his own
child aft what happened to he and it out of her control.
I cheered got his. On to the next book

This book was fun. What do you do when your found, out in
the middle of nowhere by lion? Well I probably would have
been scared to death. But then to wake up by a handsome
man could be fun. I loved Zander's mom and her wooden
spoon. that was to funny.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope
you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,

Hybrid Mates - Nicole Austin,
I devoured this book in around about 2 hours, thank you Nicole Austin for a fabulous read. I love paranormal romance and the shifter genre. At novella length the stories in this anthology were just right meaning that had I have needed to stop and start whilst reading the book I could have easily done so. All written by Nicole Austin the quality of the story and the connecting storyline is top notch.
With a pride of purebred shifter lionesses sisters as our main female leads you are never left wondering what happens as one story ends and another begins. There mates are all hybrid felines with the best of their big cat traits and none of the pure bred problems. 5stars all around for this anthology I can't wait to read more from Nicole Austins world.

Hybrid Mates is a box set containing the complete Hybrid series by Nicole Austin. The 6 novellas are all very unique and special as they each contain a hybrid male feline. These are rare in the feline shifter world. Not only because they are a combination of two felines (such as a liger: part lion and part tiger or a Tigard: part tiger and part leopard) but because they mate for life and will only ever have one true mate. In true romance fashion, this set contains a ménage, a biker, a sex club and lots more! Best of all they all contain strong females and the shifter makes that tame them in glorious ways!

The first story is what ruined it for me... I'm no prude but i don't relish being thrown into a sex-scene within the first sentence. More of an introduction would be nice even in an erotic story. The build-up is part of the thrill. I also would have liked the mate-thing to have a bit more substance, but that's just me...
