A useful biography

The book had some helpful pointers.
Chris is clearly proud of his accomplishments as laid out in the text, also equally as proud of having Harry Edwards as his guide. (Have to admit I had/have no idea who he is).
The book contains some useful insights into trance healing through Chris's experiences. Some parts resonated, as with all spiritual development each person has their own way of working - the main points
Ask for protection
Be open
Don't interfere
Trust
And show gratitude

This book is for people who are mediums or who think that might have a predispositions to become one.

All the advice you can find in this book is not for me however stories described by the author are mind blowing and creepy so if you are home alone - probably do not read that 😅

I have just finished reading this delightful book by Scottish Trance Medium Chris Ratter. Currently the only psychic surgeon residing in Scotland, Chris Ratter shares his personal experiences along with practical advice on developing trance mediumship.

Chris explains the different types of development circles and which ones are best suited for psychic healers. He graciously offers his expert tips on working with guides, avoiding pitfalls, and opening up to the gift of spiritual healing.

Easy to read and written in a friendly, approachable style, the author's anecdotes of his early years in development will intrigue and inspire you.

I highly recommend this book to those curious about developing their healing abilities. This book is suitable for beginners and intermediates in psychic development.

Publishers Note: Chris Ratter is a spiritualist medium working within a specialist branch of trance healing known as psychic surgery. He is currently the only psychic surgeon residing in Scotland. He runs healing clinics, holds trance-mediumship and healing workshops, and delivers talks and demonstrations on these subjects in Scotland, England and the Republic of Ireland. More detail is available on his website at www.chrisratterpsychicsurgeon.com

This book is about Chris Rattner's journey and outlines how he uses trance mediumship. It's an easy read and I enjoyed how he described the sensations he feels when he "blends" with the other side. Other books I have read describe trance mediumship, but don't go deeply into the subject as most books I have come across are by mental mediums. I found this book fascinating. Chris Ratter outlines his process and gives tips and hints. Enjoyed this read and learning about another type or aspect of mediumship.

Thank you Net Galley and John Hunt Publishing for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. The author is a Scottish medium, and I'm very particular about this type of book. I'm happy to say that Ratter's information is helpful, he has great tips, information and I enjoyed it a great deal.
