Grieving and on the trail of a serial killer he is determined to stop, he is befriended by his new neighbor and a cop with the NYPD. However, things aren’t always as they seem, and he finds himself being used as a pawn in someone else’s game. After extracting his revenge, he is blackmailed into working for a mysterious organization. What do they want from him? Is there anyway he can break free from them? And does he want to?

About the author

Although working as a baker for many years, writing has been a passion for Chris for some time, starting in high school and reigniting again in 2006, when he first got the inspiration to begin writing 'The Man In Black.'
After completing that project eight years later, he took part in NaNoWriMo in November 2014, culminating into a project named 5PM. Deciding to self-publish, 5PM came out in February 2015, and then The Man In Black in August.
2016 saw the release of 7PM, and in that same year, his writing path met with that of Canadian author Kate Reedwood. A mutual respect of each other's work ignited an interest in working together, creating the Legacy Hunter series, the first of which to come out in July 2017.
Apart from writing, Chris enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies and all things geeky. He resides in Coffs Harbour with his wife and three children.
Chris will be at Nexus Con on July 29 celebrating the release of the first book in his Legacy Hunter series.

I need more of the Praying Mantassassin's. There should be a movie, posters, t-shirts, bumper stickers, comic books. I can't even say Praying Mantassassin without thinking that shit is SO awesome! *lol*

In 7PM: Jack, we delve into the past of the guy known at the mantasassin academy known as DS. Jack's past is not nearly as horrific as Brittany's, but still just as sad. Again this short story is well written and gives you insight into why Jack is the way he is: the mysterious DS. My only complaint is not enough military action. But that is my personal preference because i love military romance. I can't wait to read the next installment

What a great short story! I really like how Chris wrote 5PM, the first book – a novel, and then circles back to individual characters and how they got their start in the Praying Mantassains, a secretive assassin-for-hire company.
This sets up the story of Jack and his place in the organization. He is a military veteran living in NYC. A tragic event propels him to become obsessed in tracking a killer. This installment is incredibly fast paced and each story is better than the last one. Filled with passion and action, it fills in the details of the mysterious drill sergeant. You don’t want to miss this!! I can’t wait to read his next installment in this series! A copy provided for an honest review. 5 out of 5 stars.

This book is written about a character from this author apt her book, 5pm. It is a short story about Jack, an ex military man and his journey in becoming a Mantassian. It is well written and will keep you reading.
