Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick, and pull yourself together. — Elizabeth Taylor
A cute little handbook that covers lipstick and its styles, trends and icons who wear it through the ages. Beautiful illustrations aside, it was fascinating to learn about the backstory of lipstick and how it goes beyond being just a cosmetic product. As lipstick is the only cosmetic I use, it was nice reading a book that reinforced its icon status. I wish there more depth though, especially when the author shared her own entrepreneurship journey.

I have always used red lipstick past 4 years but never did I see it the way Ms.King describes it in the book. She gives words to the feeling that I always felt wearing a Lipstick. Now I need more shades. The book surely ignites the glamorous side of you.
