From the publisher: "Engaging images accompany information about rally car racing. The combination of high interest subject matter and light text is intended for students in grades 2 through 7."
I did not have any knowledge of Rally Car Racing when I read this book, but after finishing it I have a basic knowledge of what it entails, its dangers, history, and some of the best known driver today. Whether the reader is new to this sport, or a fan, the text is brief yet full of information that can be learned, and or verified by the reader. Color photography, captions, information boxes, and large font will make this read fast paced and exciting. The "Warning" underneath the table of contents about the drivers in the book being professionals, sets up the reader for the intensity of the rest of the reading journey. Full of text features, including a glossary and a list of print and online resources to learn further about this sport, makes it a fun read.

The publisher says this book is for grades 3-7, I would say more like grades 1-4. I didn't feel like there was much to this book information/story wise. I hope it will be appealing to students for the photographs alone.
