Overall not my cup of tea, nothing that I read reached inside and grabbed me. Poetry is very subjective so it's hard to know you'll like or not until you give it a go. I appreciated that the book had an index of all the poems and page numbers, which unfortunately not all poetry books do (no idea why). The layout was clean. Though I'm not a fan of only one poem per page. I liked the font, and the font size because it was big enough to read, It could have been a little bigger even. I didn't see any spelling errors either, which people seem to complain about a lot with self published works. Some price issues for me, at $0.17 per page for only forty pages of poems, and only one poem per page. It could be the style or writing, as far as why nothing really ripped my guts out. There were a handful of poems I did enjoy but just wasn't blown away by them. I did like the short poems since I'm not a big fan of long poetry. The poet did list his handle on Twitter, which is great for self promotion and enables those who enjoyed the poetry to connect with him. I'm going to donate the book to my local library. Maybe the right person will find it and fall in love.
