Jane Payne is trying to heal her broken heart. She refuses to go on dates but busies herself with work instead. When an opportunity arises, for her to write about the wedding of two celebrities, she hopes to meet someone at the ceremony. While at the hotel restaurant, she meets Mike Adams her ex-boyfriend. During their first encounter, he tries to communicate with her but she leaves. During her stay at the hotel she learns that Mike has impacted the life of the groom. With the support of her client, mother and friend, she discovers that her prayer for new opportunities may have come in the form of second chances.
