Ballet is the only thing Brandi Alexandra Jameson has ever known. When an accident leaves her dance partner dead and herself unable to dance again, she tries to accept the situation, but some pain goes too deep to be set aside so easily. Lost, alone, frightened, all she wants to do is hide away, but her family has a different idea.

Jarrett Sullivan has been in love with Brandi from the first day he saw her and blackened a kid's eye for calling her names. Shy, unsure of himself, he stayed in the background, looking out for her, but before he could make his move, she left Victoria for the stage in Toronto. Now that she's back, he'll do whatever it takes to win her heart. After badgering her sister, he earns the right to escort the woman he's always wanted to the event of the year.

When Brandi discovers Jarrett paid an exorbitant amount for an Alexandra Jameson poster, she assumes he's lied to her and is nothing but another crazed fan. Her heart broken she flees Victoria and ends up in Geneva where she hopes to learn to cope with what's happened to her.

Can Jarrett find her and explain what happened or will a spiteful woman's half-truths keep them apart forever?

Susanne Matthews grew up as an avid reader of all types of books, but always with a penchant for happily ever after romances. In her imagination, she travelled to foreign lands, past and present, and soared into the future. Today, she has made her dreams come true. A retired educator, she now gets to spend her time writing, so she can share her adventures with her readers. She loves the ins and outs of romance, and the complex journey it takes to get from the first word to the last period of a novel. As she writes, her characters take on a life of their own, and she shares their fears and agonies on the road to self-discovery and love.

Susanne lives in Cornwall, Ontario with her husband. She has three adult children and five grandchildren. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys reading, chatting on the Internet with her writer friends, and hearing from her readers.

Another delightful read by Susanne Matthew. I really enjoyed the story line in this one a great deal. Loved both characters, and for a short book, the character development is amazing. Happy reading!

I love it anytime a novel, especially a romance one, triggers a sound to start playing in my mind; and this happens to be one of these times. The song which I heard this time happens to share the almost the same title, “Forever and for Always” by Shania Twain’; just read the lyrics to the song to get what I’m referring to as it pertains to Susanne Mathews’ novella

The author has made sure to include just the right amount of conflict to make the storyline interesting; and has developed the characters to a point where her readers can complete their visualization on their own. For allowing her readers to step into Brandi’s shoes I’ve given this novella 5 STARS.

Really enjoyed this one! Sometimes misunderstanding between characters and non-communication/assumptions made story lines drive me crazy, and sometimes they work. This was one which did a little of both, but kept me scrolling! Loved the characters and seeing them reach their HEA:)

Quick little read with a deep emotional punch. Matthews doesn't shy away from the tough issues in life. I empathized with the heroine's struggle to recuperate from injury.

This is a very well-written story that will tug at your heart. I enjoyed reading Brandi's story of how she eventually overcomes the tragedy of losing her dancing career and her struggles to find her true self. Jarrett was a wonderful, balanced hero. I would have liked to read more from his POV, especially as he worked in SE Asia. It was also nice too to catch up with Iris and Finn from There's Always Tomorrow. The characters were dynamic and true-to-life. The settings were well written and they enhanced but didn't detract. And there were tiny little details interspersed throughout the story that taught me a few things as well. This was a wonderful book to conclude my binge-reading week.

I enjoyed this romantic tale. I could feel for the characters. It had the happily-ever-after ending that I enjoyed...but I worried about it for a bit. I adore this author. I've always been engrossed by her writing.
