Riopelle in Conversation

Rate this book
Jean-Paul Riopelle is without question one of the great painters of our time, and he is the only Quebec artist whose work has a truly international reputation. Including a Radio-Canada interview by Fernand Seguin, Riopelle in Conversation offers two glimpses into a fascinating and brilliant mind. It takes stock of a life steeped in the most vital works produced during the last fifty years.

Didn't really work for me - I wanted to hear about art and Gilbert Erouart dropped the ball on this one big time - there's a bit more in a much older transcript of a CBC interview done in 1968 but doesn't really make up for the flaws in the more recent interview - disappointing
