I can't really recommend reading this book. Apart from regular typos like e.g. words being written with threee e's, the story jumps all the way around. Also, there are many characters involved. I honestly fell asleep during one part of the book.
The description of the takeover fight of Sotheby by Alfred Taubman (vs. two other american business men), was interesting. Especially the insights of the influence of lobbying and thereby stalling the takeover process through political friends, was very interesting.
The takeover fight was however too few to change my opinion to give it two stars. I give it one star since I would have never read it if I had known it was that dull a read.
