The road to salvation is lined with Nazi hillbillies and Neanderthals. Raja finds that trusting people is a bad idea. Check out the thrilling new series that Rick Remender (Black Science, Deadly Class) describes as ña heavy dose of high-octane action, character drama, a world of strange reverse mutations, and social commentary _ as we follow the last tribe of humans inoculated from the devolution agent as they set out on a desperate journey to try to find a way to re-evolve life on Earth.

Rick Remender still has it with this story. The artwork is starting to grow on me and actually fits really well with the story.
Top 3

3. Gil. He is one big dumb racist redneck asshole, but he sure knows how to fight. He kind of makes me think of Walking Dead when I see him. A bad ass that doesn't fit in when the world was "right" but now that it's gone all to shit, he is home. The cover with him and Raja looks like Star Wars with Leia and Jabba the Hut.

2. Scotty. I know we are probably suppose to feel bad for him that he has went through everything so far, but to be honest, when you see a guy like Gil you should know better. Also, Scotty doesn't seem like he is any better by the end of this issue. Dude looks a bit crazed. I guess that makes sense, since he supposedly had his balls or whole stem and balls cut off....

1. Escape. There is nothing that gives hope more, than a chance to make things better. And to have a way in a creature and human turned primitive culture what better way to escape than to fly out with a working helicopter with someone that actually knows how to use it.

Further garbage. This book was bad enough that after reading 4 (bad) volumes of Black Science & 1 (bad) volume of Low, *this* was the issue that made me swear of Rick Remender. Never again.
