An absolutely beautiful children's book. A great story. I enjoyed it so much that I bought myself a copy.

Alibris (books) described it as "A lyrical, original fairy tale, enhanced with full-color, Flemish renaissance style paintings."

This was one of the better books I've read by Cheryl Harness. A little reminiscent Allen Say or Chris Van Allsburg.
