Amnesia is a trope that has been done time and time again. And yet it's one of my weaknesses when it comes to old school Harlequin romances. Jackie Diamond's story features a MMC with amnesia (a nice change from the usual FMC who is forgetful), a determined FMC who wants to give her child a father figure and win back her husband. The child and forgetful Dad meet-cute made this a repeat read for me.

The plot is nothing new but the way the author has merged it is unique. The amnesia, H and h parted but coming together for the sake of their child first, the differences in lifestyles, h's insecurities, H's ambitions. Nothing new in any of the plot points but they all meld together to make this story unique.

A charming cute married couple romance with a pleasant blend of romance novel tropes: surprise baby, amnesia, poor woman/rich man. Audiobook done by virtual voice.
