She'd found him -- her missing husband... and the father of her child.
Only, Dr. Hugh Menton didn't remember anything about Meg Avery or their marriage. Hugh couldn't recall the man he'd been before his accident. Still, he couldn't deny the fact that the little girl with eyes like his own brought out all his paternal instincts. Or the thrill of desire that overcame him whenever he was near Meg.
Meg didn't know what had changed Hugh so. But she knew she loved him... needed him.... And she'd do everything possible to convince him that they would never be complete until they were a family once again.

Amnesia is a trope that has been done time and time again. And yet it's one of my weaknesses when it comes to old school Harlequin romances. Jackie Diamond's story features a MMC with amnesia (a nice change from the usual FMC who is forgetful), a determined FMC who wants to give her child a father figure and win back her husband. The child and forgetful Dad meet-cute made this a repeat read for me.
"Are you Daddy?" She asked as he examined the ear.
Yep! Out of the mouths of babes. You like amnesia romances? Like second chance romances? Like adorable children plot moves? You'll enjoy this cute ebook.
The plot is nothing new but the way the author has merged it is unique. The amnesia, H and h parted but coming together for the sake of their child first, the differences in lifestyles, h's insecurities, H's ambitions. Nothing new in any of the plot points but they all meld together to make this story unique.
A charming cute married couple romance with a pleasant blend of romance novel tropes: surprise baby, amnesia, poor woman/rich man. Audiobook done by virtual voice.
