Jayden

Rate this book
Jayden couldn't wait to get away from the Ace's after seeing the turbulent lives his mother and father led because of club life. Chasing a different path like his sister Chloe, Jayden enlisted in the army living out his childhood dream but Jayden's fate takes a different path to the one he'd imagined, and he has to return home after only four years away.

Jayden has learned about brotherhood from being in the army and so desperately wants to feel that sense of belonging again. He struggles to fit in at first but strikes an unlikely friendship with CJ, another damaged soul at the crossroads in his life. Together they're a force to be reckoned with, and use the skills learned in the army to help expand the 'Jones Security' team, a family run business by CJ's four siblings.

Their friendship is tested when the real reason for Jayden's departure from the army is revealed, but he continues to desperately hide the truth from the club and his family, through fear of them treating him differently.

When Jayden is at his lowest point, Sam is there to save him and Jayden finally becomes comfortable in his own skin and starts to accept the hand that he's been given in life. Sam soon needs a favour in return but is Jayden able to help or will he need the backup from the very people that he's been desperately trying to distance himself from?

Note to readers:
This is not your normal MC series. The Aces are an MC with alpha males but the members do not shy away from the fact that they are husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings. If you don’t like a biker who cares and respects his woman, then this isn't a book for you.

I want to take the time to mention that I’m from the United Kingdom and use UK spellings.

To receive the full experience of the Aces MC Series, it's recommended that you read the stories in the following order:

Diesel – Book 1
Duke - Book 2
Paige and Chloe - Book 2.5
Spike - Book 3
Amy - Book 3.5
Locke - Book 4
Jayden - Book 4.5

I've always had an overly imaginative and creative mind and although I've managed to maintain my sanity regardless of my career choice (teaching), I've decided to channel that creativity in other ways. Never had I thought of writing a book, until 2014 and I'm pleased that I did.

I hope to entertain those who enjoy gritty romance stories with domineering men and strong women.

I like to think I have a certain edge over other MC authors because of my family ties to an MC in the UK, which help to keep my books realistic (to a certain degree!) and not shy away from the fact that these club members although alpha male, are still husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings.

Thank you to all that read my books and support me in pursuing my dream.

I hope my readers enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

Oh My Gosh, Another fantastic book from Aimee.

At first I wasn't sure I was going to like a book about another non MC member (but son of a MC member) but should have known Aimee would deliver and no need for me to worry. And I am hoping CJ will help Jayden understand that the MC is a "brotherhood" Good or bad they have your back.

Jayden joined the Army and was proud to be a soldier but an accident sent the wounded warrior home. He meets CJ and becomes his sparring partner and a friendship begins but is more of a brother relationship. CJ takes him under his wing. Jayden meets CJ's brothers and sister who runs "Jones Security". Believe me, you don't want to mess with them. Total badasses.

Jayden meets and falls in love with Sam. Jayden and friends help her get out of her "life" as she lived for the last two years and I really did like that Sam was no weak ass girl and did not just sit back and waited for her "man" to rescue her. I also really like that Paige, Jaydens sister, had his back which shows that at least , to me anyway, Paige is growing up. Loved and laughed at what she did to Jaydens ex-girlfriend. Totally deserved it.

What I didn't understand: what the ex was trying to accomplish by even coming to see Jayden and then to even call him later on after being dragged out. Just strange. How did she even get into the club?
What happened with Jayden , CJ and taking down the bad guys. I would have liked to see how that went down and finally how Sam and Jayden handled the police and press and if it helped future victims. I just feel like we were missing a chapter to finish it up.

Looking forward to more from Aimee as I love her series.
( Just not sure about CJ's book as I don't like the way "I think" Aimee is headed with him. LOL)

****ARC For Honest Review****

WOW!!!!Just wow..Aimee did another amazing job..Jayden's book is short but packs a mighty punch..around every corner there's a new twist and turn..It's definitely not what I was expecting..I only want to point out a few things because I think Jayden's book should be read without any insight as not to give away any of the "OMG" moments or the "wholly hell I was not expecting that" or the "s**t where are my tissue" moments..lol
*That was definitely Not the secret I thought jayden was hiding from his family.
*You'd think after the whole Paige ordeal Hound would have learned but apparently not.
*I could never imagine experiencing what Sam and the other girls did at such a young age or at all. How she managed to survive I have no idea.
*Poor CJ you can definitely tell he's still grieving. I definitely fell in love with his character in this book and I can't wait for his story.
Now I know this is not my best review for one of Aimee's books and I'm sorry for that but Jayden's book just has so many aspects and it's such a magnificent book that I'd hate to ruin any surprises for anyone else. I don't know if it was because jayden was such a mystery character that we didn't know much about or that Aimee dived head first into a extremely horrendous subject matter with Sam's life or the fact that we got to see another more in depth side of CJ but Jayden's book has definitely become a favorite for me..I strongly recommend it and the Aces MC series as a whole.
Thank You Aimee for another amazing read and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.

Holy S***... Another fantastic book in the Aces MC series!!!
Jayden is Hounds son and has served 4 years in the Army. He has returned home following an accident...
I refuse to give spoilers so i'll just try my best...
Through his new yet solid friendship with CJ, he meets Sam and right from the moment they meet, you can feel their connection through the pages!!! With twists and turns and edge of seat plots, it was absolutely fantastic!!!
Written with a breath taking passion, this is a book that you just can't put down once you start! I think every emotion possible ran through me whilst reading it, from raging anger to tearful to hot and panting!!!
A definite 10/10 read and i'm so excited to find out what Ms Foster has planned for next in series... I can't wait!!!

ARC Received in exchange for an honest review

I love this MC series, was hooked since I read Diesel

We meet Jayden, who is Hounds son, returning home from the army but nobody know he's home except Paige.
And he has a secret that he is not ready to share with anyone yet, so that's why he's sort of hiding from his family.
He forms a relationship with CJ and through CJ he meets Sam, who is in a terrible situation and she doesn't know how to get out of it.

This story is about a guy who comes home from the war going through some issues and a girl who faces her own drama, and the two getting together trying to find some sort of happiness.

Waiting to read CJ's story!

Through CJ Jayden meets Sam who is stuck in a terrible situation and doesn´t know what to do as she is beginning to feel things for Jayden.

**ARC RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW**
Wow !! This book wasn't what i was expecting at ALL !
First we meet Jayden, Hounds son, who is home from the army but nobody knows he's home or WHY he's home. He's a lot more reserved than his sisters, Chloe & Paige, and would rather not tell anyone anything about what's happened and deal with it on his own. Without giving too much away, when a female makes fun of him due to what's happened Cj, club member and friend of Jayden, thinks the problem is with him being able to "perform" so gives him a number to get help.
Then we meet Sam, who Jayden meets to help to "destress" himself. What happens here on out is quite upsetting. Sam has been through so much over the past 2 years and is trying to survive as best she can yet even the threats to and against her can't stop her from trying to escape the hell that's become her life.
WOW ! Yet again this book had me gripped from the beginning and i really hated certain characters (when you read the book you'll see who i mean). Yet again brilliantly written with some laughs along the way too ! Loved it !!

Another brilliant book. Jayden is a fantastic story, I am not going to put anything about what happens in the book cos I don't want to spoil the book for anyone, you need to read it. We do learn a bit more about another member of the Aces MC in this book, due to a friendship that occurs with Jayden. I was one off the Lucky ones who got the ARC. If you like The Aces MC books you will not be disappointed with Jayden. I think he has become one of my favourite characters. I am looking forward to the next book in the series now
As with all Amiee-Louise Foster Books, she has not let us down she has got one heck of a brilliant mind to bring us the books that she does.
Thank you once again Amiee for another great book. Don't ever stop doing what you are so good at - Writing.
I love your Books you are one talented Lady

Absolutely brilliant!!! Another great edition to the Aces MC Series.
Jayden is the returning son of Hound, the aces secretary. Jayden has been serving in the army for the last 4 years. But he returns to his family with secrets. At the beginning I had formed some ideas of what he might be hiding, but its was what I through it to be. Jayden meets CJ, who has been mourned the lost of his best mate Locke. They immediately develop a strong friendship. Sam and Jayden connection is immediately felt when they meet. Both Sam and Jayden have a lot to overcome to be happy.
The writing is gripping, with plenty of twists and turns. The characters seem to reach across the page and draw you into their lives. Leaving you wanting more. Another brilliant Read.

Another great addition to this series! I enjoyed this book, getting to see how CJ has been handling the death of his club brother and best friend, the updates on everyone else, meeting Jayden and learning more about his life, and meeting his newest interest. It was a really great story, but I wasn't thrilled with the ending. It seemed rushed, left too many questions unanswered, and left a huge cliffhanger, which I hate.

I really like this series, but I'm getting frustrated with the endings. They seem to be getting more rushed and leaving cliffhangers, when it's not necessary. I'll continue reading this series since I have read all of the rest, but I hope that the stories will get the closure they need.

I would recommend this book and series.

I was lucky enough to be picked to read a preview for a honest review.

I have read all the books in the Aces series and loved each of them. Jayden does not disappoint.

I loved the bromance of jayden and cj. It was the beginning of a true friendship.

The relationship that developed between jayden and Sam was nice and I loved how he saved her but I was hoping for little more of them together at the end. I wanted to know how Sam dealt with press and if they did free the other girls plus Sam returning home but I'm a info junkie and always want more.

Looking forward to learning more about the others.

Thank you for another amazing read x

ARC for honest review.

I loved this book. It was a sweet romance.

Jayden is a child of an MC Club father. Seeing how his father was away for the club most of his life he did not want to be a part of club life. He ended joining the army but when tragedy strikes Jayden comes to the club to seek solace, and experience the brotherhood that he missed in the army. When Jayden meets Sam she is the one woman that doesn't see him as less of a man. Jayden and Sam are a sweet couple that look to each other to help in the tragedy that has befallen them, they quickly fall in love and will do anything to fight the people who want to keep them apart.

I'm a big fan of the Aces MC and thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series. We found out why Jayden returned from the army and it wasn't what I was expecting at all!
I loved the friendship CJ and Jayden struck up, and felt quite relieved that CJ had a new friend after losing Locke.
Sam was an interesting character, selfless and strong. Trapped in a hopeless situation, she made the best of her lot and looked out for others.
Looking forward to Woods!

If like myself you have read the rest of this series then you will be glad to finally find out what Jayden is hiding, and let me just say it was not what I thought it would be. Overall the storyline was good and will keep you captivated to find out what the outcome will be.

I just finished Jayden. WOW! What a page turner. I love this series. Hayden was sent home from being in the army and not his choice. Back home and he meets CJ and starts working out at his gym. He meets Sam who happens to be a prostitute. Great story and loved his relationship with his sister Paige. 5 stars here. Can't wait to read about Woods! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this book first

Jayden wasn't ready to return home but circumstances forced it. He has always resented the club and what it was like growing up - how it took his parents time away from the family. CJ befriends Jayden and helps him to look at things with adult eyes. Sam has lived a horrible for the last two years with no end in sight. When she meets CJ unexpected sparks fly.

Can these two have a future? Or will the demons haunting them both keep them apart?

Jayden comes home after losing his leg in the service and is trying to adjust to being back when he meets Sam, who is a prostitute. He falls quickly and the club is there to help and support him even though he is undecided about joining the club. It was great to see more of CJ and to meet his family. I am looking forward to Woods' story, he's my favorite club brother!

Aimee has written another fantastic book. There is never a dull moment with the Aces MC. I wasn't sure what to expect with Jayden's story since I didn't know much about him. I have always wondered about him and we finally get to know more about him. I hope we get to see more of Jayden and Sam in future books to come.

Another brilliant book by Aimee louise Foster , this series gets better with each book and I love the Aces mc . This book is based on Jayden , Cj and Sam story , it's really about friendship , love and getting over a massive hurdle in your life. There are bits of this book that is hard to read , it's quite descriptive but is done in a responsible way .

I love this series!!!

Jayden has such a good heart! His life has never been normal and he holds that against his parents. They won't treat their kids as grownups and it gets on his nerves. When something happens to release him from his service early he fights to come to terms with that and find a new life. With the cloud and his friends he starts in that direction.

WOW!! Jayden's story was beyond what I expected. A feel good story about overcoming obstacles that life has thrown out you. Aimee outdid herself on this one! Plus the introduction of new characters blend in with the ongoing stories of the Aces MC. Can't wait to see where the MC goes from here.
