Bill Hartford was one of those unfortunate souls who knew that fate had not been kind to him. From his earliest memories he had longed for nothing more than to be a girl, like the girls he preferred playing with and the young women he watched them grow into. When an opportunity to participate in a radical sex change study presented itself Bill volunteered without hesitation. For two glorious weeks he became Billie, the true female version of himself that he had always longed to be but two weeks is not a lifetime and the experiment only underscored his desperation to make the change permanent. To further complicate things Billie had become very close with Carol, one of the other participants in the study, but as the feelings between the two became more and more intense the reality of the fact that they would both be turning back into men put them both in a serious quandary.Stacey Zackerly returns to the realm of technology of the not-too-distant future to present an imaginative and highly erotic portrait of the benefits and potential pitfalls of easy to obtain gender switching. "In the Name of Science" demonstrates how romance isn't always found where you expect it or delivered in the package you were expecting. The story contains explicit adult language and situations. (Approximately 31,000 words.)
Stacey Zackerly is an author of erotic romance novels and an artist specializing in 3D erotic art. She has also worked behind the lens in the adult film industry and can be frequently found in the 3D virtual reality world known as Second Life where she also publishes adult graphic novels that are exclusive to that environment.
An excellent story about Bill, a man who longed to be a woman but never expected to be able to. Now at 24 he gets to be part of a trial of a treatment that allows him to be a woman even if it is just for a short period. She loves being Billie and finds out that she really should have been born a girl, but all good things must come to an end - at least at that point. The story is nicely crafted with some good twists and a very happy ending. I thoroughly recommend this book.
