SoulCollage® is a process where we create an ongoing deck of collaged 5x8 cards, each one representing some aspect of our lives and our journey. The cards are used with journaling activities, small group activities, and more, to dive into our hearts and souls. Many inner discoveries are made as the process continues. It is fun, simple, and anyone can do it! These 87 inspiring essays will lead you to a better understanding of the SoulCollage® process in relation creativity, your inner voices, working with shadow, archetypes, seasons/holidays, lessons from television, difficult times, and the big picture of SoulCollage®. Each essay is followed by prompts for journaling as well as suggestions for SoulCollage® card making and further reading. If you are new to the process, you will get a good feel for the inner depths that you can discover. If you are already making cards, you will be invited to swim deeper into the heart-opening process that is SoulCollage®.

Welcome! I write stories that stir heart & soul!

I've been writing stories and novels since the sixth grade when I was assigned to write a short story and instead turned in a 40-page novel about a little girl who stumbles on an underground cat colony! My English teacher (thank you, Mr. Ballantine!) was so impressed, he sent it to a publisher. The publisher did not respond, but Anne Marie decided right then and there to be a Writer (note the capital W).

Flash forward 50 years and I am still writing stories and novels (among other things)!

I have published several books about the intuitive process of SoulCollage®, as well as my two unique cancer journeys. I live with my big-hearted, silver-haired, number-oriented husband Jeff in eastern Massachusetts (with extremely frequent visits to Maine). My daily journey is also accompanied by two beloved adolescent felines (Louis and Seymour) who grace our lives with love and excessive cuddling in their above-ground cat colony of two.

Another beautiful and heartfelt book of essays by Anne Marie Bennett. I especially love the cover of this book as it truly speaks so deeply to what SoulCollage® (and Anne Marie's heart) is all about.

What I appreciate is the willingness that Anne Marie offers her personal soul struggles with us, as we can surely resonate with many of them. I also love hearing about her triumphs as she listens to the many different voices within herself. Not only does she pay attention, but she gives voice to them.

She does this by sharing her everyday life with us through her open and honest essays, but also by sharing with us the many SoulCollage® cards she has made over the years.

You can't help but feel a special kinship to a woman dedicated not only to her own path of becoming an enlightened being, but also to the work she does in this world to help others feel good about themselves too.

I continue to be grateful and honored to be a part of the SoulCollage® community not only for my own well being, but in that I have the honor of also sharing this healing process with others as a facilitator in Wisconsin.
