I read this book for a Social Selling course for school. I enjoyed the book. I’ll be completely honest, it’s probably the only book I’ve read cover-to-cover to a college class. I like how Shanks gave some good advice and wasn’t only trying to promote his company website and get us to buy into his services. I think some of the things Shanks talked about where for huge companies and did not apply to my small little one-woman-show business. There wasn't much for tips and idea for social marketing, so if that's what you're looking for this is not the book for you. I did take away some things to help improve my LinkedIn account. Overall, it was a decent book to help with improving my online social presence.
