It explores what helps and what hinders the achievement of the core goals of HF/ improved system performance and human wellbeing. The book should be of interest to current HF/E practitioners, future HF/E practitioners, allied practitioners, HF/E advocates and ambassadors, researchers, policy makers and regulators, and clients of HF/E services and products.
I first came across Human Factors at a seminar and was really interested, so went looking for a book that could help me learn more. This book achieves some of that, but feels like it’s specifically written for experienced Human Factors Practitioners. The first few chapters and the last few are specifically written for that audience, the section on its application within certain industries was certainly helpful and has given me a few different avenues to learn more.
