Forensic psychologist by day, novelist by night, Ellery Kane has been writing--professionally and creatively--for as long as she can remember. Just like many of her main characters, Ellery loves to ask why, which is the reason she became a psychologist in the first place. Real life really is stranger than fiction, and Ellery's writing is often inspired by her day job. Evaluating violent criminals and treating trauma victims, she has gained a unique perspective on the past and its indelible influence on the individual. And she's heard her fair share of real life thrillers.

Ellery lives in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, a picturesque setting that provides the backdrop for many of her novels. If you don't find Ellery interviewing murderers behind prison walls or pecking away at her latest novel, she is probably at the gym landing a solid jab-cross to a punching bag; riding bicycles with her special someone; or enjoying a movie the old-fashioned way--at the theater with popcorn and Milk Duds.

Ellery was previously selected as one of ten semifinalists in the MasterClass James Patterson Co-Author Competition and is the author of the Doctors of Darkness, Rockwell and Decker, and Legacy Series, with two standalone thrillers from Bookouture coming in 2022.

This was bittersweet to me. I was eagerly awaiting what would happen in this series after Prophecy, the struggle to wait was so hard! I wanted this book in my hands ASAP! The book did not disappoint! It was the best in the whole series, Ellery keeps getting better with every book, the writing is flawless here! All the secrets we have been dying for is revealed. There are no loose ends, everything wraps up perfectly!

So with all of this high praise why was it bittersweet? I hate to see this awesome series end. I want more so much more. I love Quin so much and I want more of him! He's my of my book boyfriends in case you've not noticed... yeah. I'm not sorry at all.

I have followed this from the very start when the author asked me to review Legacy, I've hooked ever since. You will be too, give this trilogy a try, you won't regret it. The plot is so well thought out, the pacing is top notch, writing superb, and the characters make it perfect. I don't want to give any spoilers as this is the last book but let me tell you, it's freaking awesome!

REVIEW *May contain spoilers *

This book picks up where book 2 left off. Lexi is still with that horrible Augustus and Quin is still far away from her. They must deal with the drug issue before there is no one left. Lexi's friends think she should move on and keep trying to set her up on dates but her heart belongs to Quin however does his still belong to her?

The author has really picked things up in this series. We get so much more depth and feeling and the action/suspense is off the charts. Again it's a genre I was not familiar with but it has opened my eyes. If you love futuristic, plot thick books grab your copy. I would highly suggest you start with book 1 in this series.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.

It has come down to the end of the line for Lex and her friends and family. They have to prove that Zenigenic and Steele Founder have nefarious plans for the drugs. But Lex has to do it without Quin. She misses him greatly but is still trying to prove his father’s innocence. But is everyone really trying to stop Xander? Not everyone’s motives are as clear as Lex first thought.

This has been one heck of a ride since the first book. Lex is such a strong woman and has some great friends and family to help her out in this final battle. She is heartbroken from the loss of Quin and I hoped and prayed that he would be back. The final battle with Xander is amazing and action packed.

I have loved this series from the start and enjoyed the ending. I am sad to see it come to an end but everything was all wrapped up and was perfect. This is an amazing series. I strongly recommend it to anyone that likes dystopian thrillers. Even if you don’t, check it out, you may find a new genera.

I received Revelation from Ari at Candid Book Reviews for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.

Ellery Kane just gets better and better. The third and final book in the trilogy (obviously) is thrilling. Brilliantly written, with constant character development, more action, more twisted plot threads, and glorious revelations. Couldn't put this one down, and didn't want to finish it at the same time.

Book #3 Revelation is a tremendous read. Like her other books Ellery Kane keeps you on the edge of your seating and wanting to keep reading and not put the books down. Following Lex's path to finish what her mother started keeps you intrigued.

Revelation is the third and final novel in the Legacy Trilogy by Ellery A. Kane, concluding what has been an easy and enjoyable dystopian style series in wonderful fashion.

Lex Knightly has been to hell and back trying to expose Zenigenic for the deceptive company it is. Alongside her father and a close group of friends, Lex has lost loved ones and friends, and is determined to help uncover any evidence that might prove Zenigenic and its founder Xander Steele are up to no good as they prepare to release a new wonder drug. It’s been months since Lex saw Quin, but when an attempt on Steele’s life puts Quin in the spotlight, Lex soon finds herself in the middle of things once again. On the run for her life but still hoping to fulfil her mother’s legacy, Lex and her friends prepare to make one final stand against Zenigenic that will either see them finally win, or be lost forever……

This series has been one I’ve very much enjoyed reading. I can’t fault any of the books—they’re just good solid entertainment. Ellery A. Kane has created a vivid future world where drugs capable of manipulating your emotions are all the rage and cause dangerous side effects to those using them. As the daughter of the scientist behind the creation of many of these drugs, our main character Lex has been on a mission to help right the wrongs of her remorseful mother throughout the series, with danger, romance and plenty of twists never far behind. Ellery A. Kane has managed to pack a lot into three books with the storyline continually developing and changing during the trilogy.

Revelation begins a few months after the second book Prophecy ended, with Lex missing Quin but still hoping to help prove his father’s innocence. In Revelation motives are questioned and deceptions revealed with readers finally learning some long awaited truths. All the characters I’ve enjoyed seeing join Lex are back; Quin (obviously!), Edison, Elana, Max, Mr Van Sant, Artos, Lex’s Dad….even Emma, Sting and Carrie return with a place amongst the story.

I’ve enjoyed following Lex throughout the trilogy and feel she has been a strong protagonist. I loved her relationship with Quin and am glad to see that Ellery A. Kane finally gives her characters a lot of resolution, even if their futures are left uncertain but hopeful.

Fast paced and perfect for fans of the Article 5 series by Kristen Simmons, Revelation concludes Ellery A. Kane’s debut series and leaves this reader superbly satisfied with how everything ended!

The final book in the Legacy Trilogy, Revelation has arrived and it’s spectacular.

Author Ellery Kane announced in her blog post “As its title suggests, Revelation promises to reveal all that is unknown” And I can honestly confirm she has held true. And not only that, but ATROS LIVES!

In the first book I never thought I would end up liking Lex, but by the end of this, I found myself not only cheering her on but the rest of the gang too. Revelation makes all the necessary twists, turns and feels and to make each character important to the reader again… and yes, even Emma!

This series is more than just another three book dystopian. You experience not only the characters growth book-to-book, but you also get to experience the authors growth - learning, listening to her readers, and outdoing herself book-by-book. Congrats Ellery, this series turned out to be AMAZING!

This is the third and last installment of the legacy trilogy. WOW, that was a fantastic ending! This book picks up right where book two ends, Kane makes sure that we are not missing a thing in this book. Revelation was able to wrap everything up perfectly. I love this trilogy and cannot believe that it is over already. Ellery Kane was able to give her characters Lex and Quin a type of dynamic that really worked with their personalities and complexity. I love this trilogy!

I started and ended this book today. I think it was probably my favorite of the series. By the third book, I was familiar with the characters (at least you think you are). But this series always keeps you guessing. Really enjoyed the theme of the emotion altering drugs and the government's misuse of certain drugs and power. Doesn't seem too far fetched...especially in a futuristic, dystopian setting

Ellery Kane has done it again!! "Revelation" answered all of the questions we have had in this trilogy in a dramatic thriller that will keep you turning the pages. You fall in love with the characters all over again and find yourself cheering them on as the plot thickens. What a great ending to a phenomenal trilogy!! Well done Ellery Kane! Can't wait to see what's next!

Sooo good! It's hard to write a review without any spoilers. Everything comes to a head. Gang shootings, EAMs, Zenigenic, Lex and crew, String, Emma, Augustus, Xandi and others- some crazy twists and turns, emotional highs and lows, and couldn't put it down. I hope there's a follow up/ spinoff from how it ended because not all loose ends were tied up.
