3 Tales of Horror includes three engrossing horror novellas, all of which have their unique flavor and voice. These seductive tales explore different themes of horror and take us to three very different places.

"The Solution" by Rick McQuiston tells the tale of a young man alone in a world overrun with hideous creatures bent on destroying all of humanity. When he seeks shelter in a house he finds an odd little girl, a strange room, a disturbing book, and the secret of the origin of the invasion. As he tries to escape the house and the gathering mob of nightmares outside, he realizes he can't survive the constant flight and fight pattern that has kept him alive so far. Torn between protecting the little girl and trying to save himself, he forgets about the real danger.

"...The Colour of Time" by K.R. Gentile is the non-linear story of a supervillain bent on serving his godmother at all cost. Skillfully crafted scenes elicits the threat of a character with enhanced abilities devoted to serving a higher purpose in this very evocative tale. Allowing us to share moments that shaped his life allows us to peer into that darkness of human nature and find ourselves wondering if he's really wrong. Contains some very adult scenes used with precision to explore the nature of our leading man and his path.

"Eden Succeeding" by Christopher L. DelGuercio is the addictive tale of a doomed colony of humans on another world, stranded, abandoned, and dealing with an unforeseeable threat to their very humanity. It explores the nature of society on the brink of collapse, and of our relationships to one another and the actions that can come of them. The setting is immersive and haunting and the threat is one that is not easily forgotten or compared to anything else I know.
