JoAnn Wagner never expected to become a children’s book author—but life had other plans! In 2014, her pastor handed out pink flying pig stress balls and asked the congregation to take them on summer adventures, posting photos to Facebook (a little like Flat Stanley). JoAnn’s pig quickly became “Sir Pigglesworth,” and people couldn’t resist posing with him. Kids stared in wide-eyed wonder, and JoAnn loved how he instantly “shared smiles with everyone he met.” That spark became his logo and the inspiration for the award-winning Sir Pigglesworth Adventure Series.
Since then, JoAnn has published nine books (and counting!) filled with laughter, learning, and globe-trotting fun, and she and Sir Pigglesworth travel often to research his next big escapade. Retirement turned into the adventure of a lifetime—and she invites you to share it with her and her mischievous pink piglet.
Sir Pigglesworth changed her life forever… he might change yours, too!

A Cruise Ship almost has enough variety and activities even for this piglet.

I'm not certain who has the better imagination, Sir Pigglesworth or fabulous award-winning author, JoAnn Wagner. The setting for the cruise and all the possibilities are woven into this delightful tale.

I enjoyed the focus on the young person's activities which are available on most cruises. The details are enough to engage the most fanciful ideas on all the special things one can do on vacation.

This is a great story to share with a child before their first cruise or as a reminder after a cruise so the child can write his or her own story to Sir Pigglesworth. As always the artwork add so much to the story.

Sir Pigglesworth embarks on a cruise to Bermuda with his friends JoAnn and Bill. With so many great activities on the ship, a great adventure surely awaits!

This book is recommended for ages 5-12. It was a nice, quick, and easy to read book that children will surely enjoy. I just love Sir Pigglesworth character. He's so spunky, adventurous, and a little clumsy at the same time. Sir Pigglesworth is a really fun character that will not only catch the hearts of children but adults as well. Illustrations are shown at every turn of page. It also includes some good to know facts about famous sites in Bermuda. So while reading this book, children will be able to learn as well.

I received a copy of this book for free from the Goodreads Giveaway. The author included a personalized autograph in the book along with a bookmark which I thought was really thoughtful of her.

I love the concept behind this series: multiple books designed to be read aloud involving real-life locations and adventure potential. When my sister reads this book to my nephew and niece, they can ask her about her adventures in Bermuda. Plus, Sir Pigglesworth himself is relatable to children. He's one of the most human literary pigs I've ran across. I would recommend this book to any family library. I received this book for free through Goodreads Giveaways. It is autographed.
