I didn’t think this book was very good. It was an easy read and I thought the plot was interesting but there wasn’t really anything else good to say about it. Some of the comic parts seemed oddly placed like they didn’t exactly line up with where they should have been. Also the comic sections were of pointless parts that could have easily just been written and the comic parts could have been during more action parts or on parts to allow the reader to better visualize the story instead of just randomly placed on not very important parts of the story. This book was also exceptionally short and choppy. It jumped from one thing to the next without very much flow at all. It almost seemed like the book was more of a summary of a good story that needed to actually be written. The reader absolutely had no idea what was going on at all with the mystery. It said what the characters are doing but you have no idea what any of the clues are until you get to the end of the book and the gang tells the person who did it what the clues were that lead them to figure out who it was that did it but even without the clues it’s so obvious who did it that you already know pretty well from the very beginning of the book. The ending is pretty bad too. There’s not really a trap or anything. They just go out on stage, say a few things, then all the sudden they have the guy. I was definitely not impressed by this book. It has potential but it needs a lot of work.

I noticed something here in the description. It says that they're putting on a Shakespeare play. That's the second time this week Shakespeare has come up.
"Did you know why I asked about the Hamlet thing... Speaking of Shakespeare, could I go and read some Shakespeare?"

Yes, there are some more Shakespeare plays... finish this review really really quick.
"I liked it. It has one of the Shakespeare's plays!"

It's also a Scooby-Doo book.
"Also like it because it's Scooby-Doo!"

"Of course!"

"No..."

"Yeah! Actually TEN TIMES!"

Fun nostalgic read. I always love a good Scooby mystery whether a book or a show it always makes me smile This book was no exception.
