When I was a kid this book made me want to read. I was 9ish and a little obsessed with vampires so the cover grabbed me. It was an easy and fun read and opened me up to tween horror fiction. Although my taste has changed (although, I still love horror) I now never go anywhere without a book, and this was the first one I read for interest not forced to for school.
