What do you do when you are fighting for your family? This is the question Bilal Ansell Blake aka Baby is faced with. Separated from his wife of nearly twenty years, Bilal is trying to figure out how to fix it. While trying to fix his marriage Baby has to deal with his wife’s money hungry family. Then his son reveals a secret so big that it could shake his family’s peace of mind forever.
Unique is the middle child and is fighting her way out of an abusive marriage. She and her twelve year old daughter, Montana, have been affected by Unique’s husband and a near fatal attack on her brought most of her secrets to light. What will happen now that all that she has kept close to her heart is being discussed among her family?
Kane is the youngest Blake child and the most grounded. An up and coming pastor and a soldier in the Army Reserves has not had the issues that his siblings have. He is single with no kids and finishing up his last year of college. His focus has been on finishing school and going straight into the ministry. That is until his friend introduces him to her sister. Will he be able to resist temptation and remain focused on his goals? Or will his goals be deterred by the flesh.
Shakira is the wife of Bilal. She wants a better life and thought that she would have that when she started dating Bilal in high school. Even though she never worked and Bilal provided for her and her kids, Shakira’s family was always in the middle of their marriage and it was wearing on her. She wants her husband, but will her family be the ones to tear it apart, or will it be a face from the past? Can she keep the family that she worked hard for together or will secrets tear them apart.
With faith being tested and temptation all around, will the Blakes come out on top or will they fall victim to the Devil’s antics. Find out what happens when good meets evil, and see if the bonds of marriage and family can remain solid and hold true to the vows that were spoken before God.

Family

The book was interesting. It did have some loops with somethings that were said. Also, I hated how it ended. I was sitting on the edge to see what happen.

Wow!

Love that it's Christian fiction with a little action and drama. Enough to keep you wanting more turning pages. Certainly into it onto the next one.....

I read this book in one sitting and it's really a story that's relatable. Through the grace of God, love of family, the patriarch, Bubba and matriarch, Lois, hold their children and the next generation together. Lots of trials and tribulations with a touch of drama to keep the readers interest peeked. The words flow smoothly from chapter to chapter. I plan to read more by this new (for me) author and gave a four **** rating.

Good book!

I started reading this book to take my mind off of my own personal family drama. The writer pulled me in and kept me wanting more. I give this book three and a half stars. Can't wait to continue the story.

Great

Family is everything. Love your children don't make them pay for things that happened to you. Jealousy and envy can be destructive.

I'm disappointed in the ending.

I was enjoying this read until it abruptly ended. I believe it could have allowed the characters to experience more before ending so crazy!

Slow

Slow and drawn out. A lot of predictable moments. Not to bad. I like the idea of using an entire family.

Unbreakable Bonds

Very down to earth portraying real life situations. Will obtain 2nd book to see what happens to all the characters.
