I promised myself after reading the collaboration that Kyoshi and Kellz Kimberly did that I was going to find EVERYTHING that I could that she had written to see if it was a fluke or if this young lady was just that talented. I am happy to report that SHE IS JUST THAT TALENTED!!! From the beginning of the book, I was completed drawn into the world of Nai and Rari. They were opposite sides of the same coin. While Nai grew up surrounded by death, a vindictive mother, and mayhem, Rari's familial upbringing was just the opposite. The fact remains however that they were truly destined for one another. What Nai lacked Rari was able to fulfill and vice versa. They kept us on a tumultuous roller coaster that at times made you want to scream out in frustration but one thing that can be said is there was NEVER a dull moment. I absolutely loved the relationship that Nai and Fia had with one another. As cold as she attempted to betray herself to be, we were able to see glimpses of the beginning of her inner true beauty and essence. The way that she expressed her love for her deceased "abuela" and "abuelo" just endeared her more to my heart. To see the many layers that made up Nai and watching her evolve and strip the barbwire that she had allowed to take up residence around her heart were just some of the more poignant moments in the book. Jason and Rari's relationship was built on loyalty, familial bonds, respect, and brotherhood. There was no malice, jealousy, or discord present when they dealt with one another. They clearly had one another's backs and it was an unspoken rule that it would always be that way. There are just too many WONDERFUL things that I can say about this book but I think the most significant point that needs to be made is that Ms. Kyoshi hands down is a DYNAMIC WRITER!!!! It has been quite a while that I've stumbled across a writer that I've never heard of or read that somehow completely captivated my attention from beginning to end. Not only that but normally when I find new writers it's hit or miss with me. Some books I like and others I question WHAT HAPPENED??? This most definitely is not the case here. Ms. Kyoshi has made her way onto my very short list of authors to purchase sight unseen whenever a book comes out. KUDOS Ms. Kyoshi Job Well Done!!! Can't wait to read what you have in store for us next. In case you didn't catch it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE!!! Don't sleep on this one you don't want to be left behind because if nothing else is known, I know without a shadow of a doubt that this author is well on her way to the top without an ending in sight!!!!!

Loved it from beginning to end

Kyoshi never disappoints with her books and this was no different. Nai and Rari pull you in from the very first page all the way until the last. I am hoping there will be a spinoff so we can learn more about Isabel and her ways. She is way too sneaky for my liking. I love the relationship Fia and Jason have. Nai and Rari had to grow together and they grew to be a very beautiful couple. I hope this isnt this last we see of them.

Hot

This book started with a bang and continued to fire all the way through. It was so good. I loved Nai , she was real and had her gangsta on blast. Her relationship with Fia was true and they were the best of friends. Rari was a sexy thug with lots of BOSS exuding from him. I just loved his and Nai's relationship , it was rough in the beginning but it made them the power couple they should've been. Great read!

Well written with smooth storyline. Nai & Rari had a wonderful relationship despite Nai attitude @ times. Rari definitely knew how to handle her. I liked the positive relationships held between the couple's & friends. Though Martina reeked of evilness, her presence was needed. I enjoyed reading this standalone novel!

Loved it!

I loved to read books that play out like a movie in my head. From the first page I was all in it, very well written and easy to follow only. Nari was a broken girl and rari was just the person she needed to mend her back together. Over all this was a great standalone and I would recommend you read for yourself.

Love Conquers all

Martina had some sh!t with her. So was just a cold hearted b!tch. I'm looking forward to hear more about these couples. Maybe Juelz can have him a nice lady also. Nai, Rari, Fia and Jason I hope their relationships last forever.

Ok!

The story line and the book were ok, but it didn't hold my attention like I wanted it to. I found myself skipping pages just to get to the part I wanted so that's why I have 4 stars

Typical story line with a slightly different twist

For one , this novel was riddled with grammatical mistakes making it difficult to read . The story line was all top typical fair skin mixed chicken grabbing the attention of the evasive , rich drug dealer .
