When it rains it pours. Has the whole world gone crazy? Inactive United States Marines Captain Trenton Jamal Blake-Moore certainly thinks so. After returning home to help with the shooting investigation of State Representative Jasmine Anderson, he discovers that one heated night of passion and pleasure with Alena Wellstone resulted in her giving birth to his son Trevor. After staying in Emerald Grove he and his team are asked to help with a local kidnapping case. Both he and Alena have a full plate with everything that life has thrown at them. She sees him as the big bad wolf and his son sees him as his hero. Will these two call a truce for their son’s sake and give their love a second chance?
She did it again Trenton and Alena story is a must read. What a way to end an amazing series of 3 marines the love of their lives along with their sisters and brothers in the marine corps. They find away to express their love for each while slaying the demons in their lives and come out victorious.
Daddy's Home is the third book in the To Love & To Protect Series. This was a refreshing series to read because there wasn't a lot of cheating and baby mama's to deal with but it dealt with real life situations. I enjoyed Alena and Trenton walk to get to know each other better after his return. I love how each book in the series had a main couple that it focused on. There were times in the book that names were misplaced but it didn't take away from the story line itself. I think that Claire and Trujillo would have a interesting story since he's really guarded and you really don't know a lot about him. Also, Alexi & Luke and Nicole & Kamar.
As always with Deborah R. Brandon work well written this one seemed like it had more errors, but overall an excellent book. I love to read stories with happy endings. I know there will be a part three with the way this ended and I for one can not wait. I recommend everyone grab this book quick
This was a pretty good read. It is just one part of the To Love and Protect Series. The storyline was very well developed and an enjoyable read. I really liked how it took me away from my usual read. It had a kinda country style setting to it. This is my first read from this series, but I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in the series.
