The World of Emoji
Not yet published
Expected 30 Dec 30Emoji are taking over the world (or at least all your social communication)! Don't get left behind--find out what they all mean.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that's definitely true when it comes to emojis. Every day, millions of smiley faces, thumbs up, dancing girls, slices of pizza, and pumped up biceps are pinged to family and friends from mobile devices around the world. Each symbol is designed to sum up in one character tone, emotions, desires, jokes, and more, all through just a few pixels. But how can you be sure you're using the right one? Have no fear--all will be made clear in the Emojipedia!
This fun book not only defines what each emoji means, but there is fun additional information, like the history of the poop emoji (come on, we know you want to know it's history!). And searching for your favorite emoji will be easy because they're organized by theme (food, animals, etc.).
The fun artwork will draw readers in--especially the pages detailing how to make pictures and poems made up of emoji.

Emojipedia is a visually dynamic, fun book showcasing the myriad of emoji's available today.
I love emoji's, it's like giving stickers for good work and adds flair to texts, blog posts and status updates.
Emojipedia is organised per Apple's keyboard but the definitions will apply to any keyboard used. You can make sure your using your emoji's in the right context or find ones to use you hadn't thought of. There is also fun little facts about some of the emoji's, for example have you ever notices the emoji for french fries has a happy face with smiling eyes - obviously french fries makes everyone happy, lol.
Emojipedia is gong to be a great addition to the school library, I may even challenge pupils to write a review using Emojipedia ;)
