this book is awesome. i used it as an intro to learn circuit design, mainly audio. gives basic and practical calculations, also has many courtesy designs from motorola. it's been so much fun and has been torn into pieces over the years, about 3. covers many different areas of design, amplifier, power supply, overload protection, radio frequency, op-amp and waveshaping circuits. this book is older but still an excellent reference and has the foundation of many designs used today. this is definitely simplified but technical enough in many aspects. it is also ideal for the lazy engineer who just needs to get something done.
