Not all that deep, but obviously a champion of the faith and of human rights.

I really enjoyed reading this book! He was an interesting person and this gave me some great information about him as a leader and a father.

I wish I could give this book ten stars. I don't know why it took me so long to discover Desmond Tutu, but his perspective is so beautiful, it effects me much in the same way as Pablo Neruda's poetry. Regardless of the fact that I am not a Christian, his spirituality and humanity mirrors my own belief system, just with different names. In so many ways, he reminds us humans that we are all so much the same. Now I want to read everything else he has written.
