One night and a bad confession left Amanda running every time she saw Devon coming. He knows her secret and she can’t help but feel threatened. With her best friend getting married to Devon’s older brother, she can’t seem to avoid the annoying man, though. As maid of honor and best man, they are shoved together for everything. It doesn’t help matters that her best friend is playing matchmaker.
Devon isn’t nearly as upset about the close quarters as she is. He’s been chasing after the woman for months, trying to apologize and get another chance with her. Amanda just wants to be left alone with her secret. Will Amanda be able to get through the wedding without becoming a laughing stock? Will Devon be able to convince her that he’s not the bad guy she thinks he is? What will both of them do when an unexpected guest shows up at the wedding?

Absolutely HATED the heroine. She was so freaking annoying. I just don't have the patience for hang-ups and issues in such a short book. Devon was perfect though. Can't believe he hung in there. He was totally celibate for a year after being with her. She did not deserve it!

3.5 stars. I liked this one more than the first. It was good to see what happens with Justin and Sara from the last book. Devon was a great H. He had to work hard to get Amanda. Amanda drove me a little crazy. I understood some of her reasoning but she was punishing Devon for others mistakes.

Amanda has a secret she wants to keep hidden, but Devon Steele knows what she's hiding and Amanda is afraid he will tell the world sooner or later. She thinks that by avoiding him that her secret will be safe, but by keeping Devon at arm's length, she is also keeping a good guy at bay.
Unfortunately for Amanda, she is bound to see Devon a lot more since they are both involved in the planning of Justin and Sara's wedding. Try as he might, Devon is having a very tough time convincing Amanda that the two of them are perfect for one another, until Amanda ties one on and her secret is revealed along with the back story to that secret, which spurs Devon into action and makes Amanda take notice.
Cowboy Romance: Devon is sultry and fast paced. It's a good quick read. Amanda is not my favorite heroine, I found her to be quite annoying, but Devon made up for that with his actions. Once again, this story s told in first person. This could be why I did not like Amanda. I may have enjoyed Devon's point of view better.

Amanda returned to her hometown after her boyfriend Max posted a video of them making love. Now she can't trust any man especially Devon Steele. He knows about the video. She hates that he has power over her. Can she learn to trust again? Devon is a Alpha who wants Amanda in his life. They spent one night together and then she kicked him out. He may have a wild reputation but he cares for her. He will be her protector. This Cowboy is a keeper. Amanda deserves happiness. She shouldn't have to suffer for a mistake in judgement. I liked her feisty attitude and her strength. These two are perfect together. I liked them and wanted them To find happiness. This passionate romance is entertaining. It was nice to see familiar characters. I, also, enjoyed the setting and the sassy dialogue. Devon is a great sequel in the Steele Brothers series.

Amanda then spends months trying to avoid Devon, but Devon's brother is engaged to Amanda's best friend so avoiding him isn't easy. Now the Maid of Honor (Amanda) and the Best Man (Devon) are in charge of throwing a party together. Amanda cannot avoid Devon any longer.
This is a good story with quite a bit of humor.

Oh my! This story had me laughing aloud and enjoying every minute. Amanda was the perfect firecracker being lit at each turn by Devin. Great story that did my heart good. Next up.....Avery

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. Excellent book. Highly recommend this book to everyone. Excellent story line kept your interest and attention making it hard to put down.

I liked the story of Amanda and Devon even more than Sara and Justin's, shame for the shortness, very short...leave me hungry for more.
