During my work on membranes this book was my bible. Brilliantly written - about as well written as highly specialized science books can be. This is not a book for the lay reader however. It is aimed directly at those working in the field and requires a large amount of prior knowledge in physics and chemistry to grasp the thermodynamics and polymer functionality that is central to it. A must have for any budding membrane scientists...
