This little book pays eloquent tribute to the imagination of a little girl.
The narrator describes a certain hideaway, located in her closet. This is her special place for spending time for herself.
By the time kids are old enough for "Rookie Reader" books, what can a parent or caregiver tell about them?
1* Some need time to themselves. 2* Some CRAVE time to themselves. 3* Others have so little interest in "time to themselves" they would rather stand up and holler... Until another human, or a pet, comes to play with them.
This book will be particularly meaningful to kids in Groups 1 and 2. FIVE STARS for meeting a need. Since those of us in Groups 1 and 2 can really love to read. Here, finally, is a book for us.
For that reason, I am shelving this book under HIGHEST PRAISE.
