Florida Real Estate Principles, Practices & Law is the most comprehensive prelicensing text in the state of Florida. Updated content includes new information on Florida legislative changes since May 2007. Instructor materials include practice exams and teaching outlines, everything you need to successfully teach a Florida prelicensing course.
Nearly 500 pages of Florida real estate law, federal and state regulations, at least 75% of which you must memorize in order to pass the state licensing exam.
The book is pretty much self-explanatory and necessary to study cover-to-cover, if you want to pass the exam. Lots of acronyms to help you memorize the principles. Hundreds of terms, statutes and regulations to learn. Each chapter has a quiz at the end, and there's a sample 100-question exam at the end of the book. There were a handful (maybe 3-4) questions on the state exam that came directly from the quizzes in book. LOTS of math involved, but the samples in the book are quite helpful.
I passed the state exam on the first try, thanks to this book, and I'm told that's a feat in itself. If you're going to take the state exam, study every page, read every line, because the questions on the state exam come from all over the place in this text.
