truly heartbreaking romance about a teen mum who thinks her baby died only to find out that the baby was given to another couple. She wants her child and sues for custody while falling in love with the girl's widowed dad. She wins custody but at the cost of her love and the girl's happiness. She gives it all up once again and the only thing that irked me is the H should have friggin' appreciated her more. Still an emo story tho, so full marks for angst.

This is heartbreaking story about a woman whose child dies at birth and then finds out years later that her baby was given to another couple. She falls in love with the child's widowed father and begins to not only find love but to also understand the complicated relationship she had with her own father, a famous painter. During the course of the book she wins custody of her daughter only to give it all up for the sake of the little girl and her love for the H. The only thing wrong with this book is the ending is rushed and while there is an HEA, the H should have gone on his knees in gratitude for the h's sacrifice and instead treats her like garbage and has no appreciation for her pain and loss whatsoever.

Aside from the messed up ending, the story is moving and shows what real love and sacrifice is all about.
