Cassie Sinclair has lived in Mammoth, Minnesota all her life. A tiny town full of small people with small dreams. Growing up she'd entertained the idea of becoming an artist, but these days she feels, well... uninspired. Instead of sketching her days are full of her best friend Kelsey’s drama, other people’s pets, and her aloof parents. The only place she finds solace is when she is listening to Ryder Evans, lead singer of Relentless, croon through the speakers of her stereo. Ryder seems to have a direct line to her heart. When she and her best friend, Kelsey go to the Relentless concert it spurs an unexpected sequence of events that land her on Ryder’s radar. Will she survive being thrust into the world of sex, drugs and rock and roll?
I was born in Fort Bragg, NC and when I was about a year old my parents returned to their roots and I've been a Michigander ever since.
I grew up in "the thumb" in a small farm town, but moved to the UP to pursue my Bachelor's in Psychology at Michigan Technological University. During my studies, I started working at the Writing Center, and it grew to be the only thing I loved about college. Since I enjoyed writing so much, I added on a Minor in Journalism. I met my husband (a mechanical engineer) on my first day there!
After I graduated, I didn't feel like I'd learned enough yet, so I pursued a Master's in Educational Technology at Western Michigan University.
Now I reside on an island located just south of Detroit, Mi. I live with my daughter, husband, and our 3 dogs: Merit, Walter, and Spree.
